Manaus - Barco (Boat)

Boa Noite queridos seguidores do nosso blog!!

Hoje tivemos um dia INTENSO de passeios: visitamos o grandioso Teatro Amazonas, Palácio Rio Negro, fizemos comprinhas no Mercadão e ainda conhecemos o Centro de Instrução de Guerra na Selva! Fomos também ao Instituto Nacional de Pesquisa da Amazônia e ainda tivemos tempo para mais compras no shopping!

Amanhã vamos começar uma das maiores aventuras de nossas vidas: vamos entrar em um barco e só vamos sair depois de 5 dias!! Vamos dormir em redes, ter a oportunidade de conhecer comunidades indígenas, nadar no Rio Negro e ainda presenciar o espetacular Encontro das Águas dos Rios Negro e Solimões que formam o Rio Amazonas; é um dos maiores espetáculos naturais do Brasil. Também vamos fazer o curso de sobrevivência na selva com instrutores do Exército, nadar com os botos cor-de-rosa, acordar para ver o nascer do sol, tirar fotos com vários animais enfim...uma aventura de tirar o fôlego!! AMAZONIAAAAA BABY!!!

No barco vamos ficar sem acesso à internet e telefone, portanto mandaremos mais notícias/fotos assim que possível!

Good Evening dear Blog Followers!!!

Today was an extremely tiring day!! We visited the huge Amazon Opera House, Rio Negro Palace, made some shopping at the Municipal Market and went to CIGS, the army training center where a zoo with many endangered animals is located! We also visited INPA (National institute for Amazon research) and went to the mall to do more shopping!
Tomorrow we will start one of the biggest adventures of our life’s: we will pick up a boat now and stay there 5 ENTIRE DAYS!!! We will sleep in hammocks, will visit some Indian communities, swim in Negro river and get to know the spectacular meeting of the waters: Rio Negro and Solimões, which together turns on the Amazon River.  We will also have a survival course in the jungle, swim with the pink dolphins, wake up really early to see the sunrise, take pictures with many different animals…summarizing; we will live a breathless adventure!! AMAZON, BABY!!!!!!!!!!

MANAUS!!!

Boa Noite a todos!!

Chegamos em Manaus hoje após uma rápida e tranquila viagem desde Presidente Figueiredo! Nosso dia hoje foi PERFEITO!! Após um delicioso almoço, chegamos à tarde em nosso hotel 5 estrelas! Conhecemos o Mini Zoo (que fica dentro do hotel), e curtimos bastante a piscina de ondas!!

Agora à noite presenciamos um show folclórico da região: uma apresentação maravilhosa do Boi Bumbá! E depois...FESTA!! Fizemos uma festa surpresa para os intercambistas, e todos dançaram MUITO!!! Chegamos agora em nosso hotel completamente ACABADOS!!

Amanhã teremos nossa visita por essa histórica cidade!

Good evening everyone!!

We arrived today in Manaus! Our day was simply perfect!! After a delicious lunch, we came to our FIVE STARS hotel! We went to the Mini Zoo (inside of the hotel!), and had a lot of fun at the wave swimming pool!

At night we went to see a Folkloric presentation really famous at the region: Boi Bumbá presentation! And after that…PARTY!! We made a surprise party to the exchange students  and we danced until our feet hurts!!! We just came back to our hotel extremely tired!!

Tomorrow we will get to know this historical city!
